‘Ducati’ Upped To APD, KISS 104.1/Atlanta

• Cox Media Group has promoted Dyron “Ducati” Walker to Assistant Program Director of Urban AC WALR (KISS 104.1)/Atlanta. In this expanded role, Walker will assist with day-to-day programming duties, including music curation, imaging, and community outreach, while retaining his midday air shift.

“KISS 104.1 is evolving, and Dyron has proven to be a strategic, thoughtful leader which has positively impacted our team culture,” said Nate Reed, Director of Operations for CMG Atlanta’s music brands. “This role sets him up for future success within CMG and beyond.”

Walker began his radio career at WQUE/New Orleans in 2003. He returned to his hometown of Atlanta in 2010 as Traffic Reporter for CMG, and was elevated to fulltime middays on KISS 104.1 in 2019.

Jaleigh Long, VP/Market Manager, CMG Atlanta Radio, remarked, “We are thrilled to have such top talent to promote from within for this important role. This is truly a testament to Dyron’s hard work and perseverance.”

“I cannot express how grateful I am for this opportunity to uplift those around me,” Walker said. “As a Black man in leadership and management, I take my impact on the community and my colleagues seriously. Thank you, Chris Eagan, Jaleigh Long, Elroy Smith, Nate Reed and the listeners of KISS 104.1 for supporting me in this next chapter of my radio career!”
