DVR Alert: Pentatonix Holiday Special!
Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum RCA recording act Pentatonix is poised to host their first-ever holiday network special on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 8pm ET/PT on NBC. Please set your DVR accordingly…. we’ll wait here. The one-hour event promises to “take viewers on a holiday musical journey filled with joy, heart and laughter as the group performs some of their holiday favorites.” Joining Pentatonix will be superstar Reba McEntire, Grammy Award winner Kelly Clarkson and other surprises to be announced.
Pentatonix — (l-r): Avi Kaplan, Kirstin Maldonado, Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi and Kevin “K.O.” Olusola — recently released their third holiday album, A Pentatonix Christmas, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. The album features the group’s arrangement of the Leonard Cohen classic, Hallelujah, which debuted at No. 6 on Billboard’s Top Digital Songs Chart. The music video received more than 20 million views in its first week. A Pentatonix Christmas Special is executive produced by Brad Lachman Productions, Inc. in collaboration with RCA Records and Pentatonix, which is currently on the final leg of their 2016 World Tour.
