Employees Acquire Radio Rancho, LLC

• Boise, ID-based Radio Rancho, LLC, which operates Regional Mexican KDBI-FM (La Gran D 106.3)/Homedale, ID and KPDA (La Poderosa 100.7)/Mountain Home, ID, will be purchased by its employees. The new ownership group includes current Vice President DC Calton, and APD/On-Air Talent Gustavo Acosta.

The acquisition from current owners Kevin Terry and Scot Mathews fulfills their vision of transferring the company to the team that has driven its success over the past decade, creating an ownership group that is substantially Hispanic-owned.

“We built something special here, and the employees made it thrive,” said Terry. “Selling to them keeps Radio Rancho local and in the hands of those who truly understand its mission.” Mathews added, “This team has poured their hearts into these stations for ten years.
