Entercom Debuts ‘Reimagined’ Country, Alt

• On the heels of last week’s sizeable personnel cuts inside Entercom, coupled with David Field‘s announcement that the company was “reimagining” the Alternative and Country formats comes word that the company will be filling those gaps by sharing content across multiple markets with the national expansion of several high-profile Entercom Alternative and Country personalities/shows.

A staff memo from Entercom COO Susan Larkin, obtained by RAMP, lays out the new Country and Alternative programming and on-air organizational chart. Larkin said, “Congrats to Mike Kaplan, Tim Roberts and John Foxx, the architects of the Alternative and Country brand plan. Your many countless hours and diligent focus on what’s best for our audience is so appreciated. One of the most exciting things about this new plan is the opportunity to promote some of our very best leaders and talent. Their skill set and demonstrated success have already created value and now it’s the time to expand that beyond their home markets.” Here now are the newly upgraded Country and Alternative teams and their areas of responsibility:

Country:

Tim Roberts: Format Captain/VP of Country Programming; Regional VPs of Programming: John Foxx and Kevin Callahan; Regional Brand Managers: Marci Braun, Justin Cole and Scott Roddy.

National Talent: Katie Neal (WNSH/New York) — middays, Rob Stone & Holly Hutton (WYCD/Detroit) — nights.

Alternative:

Mike Kaplan — Format Captain/SVP of Alternative Programming; Regional VPs of Programming: Matt Malone, Christine Malovetz & Leslie Scott; Regional Brand Managers: Bailey & Bryce Segall.

National Talent: Kevan Kenney (Alt 92.3/New York) — nights; Regional Talent: Cane & Corey (Alt 92.3/New York) — mornings; Church of Lazlo (KRBZ/Kansas City) — afternoons; Dave & Mahoney (KXTE/Las Vegas) — Mornings; Gregr (KNDD/Seattle) — mornings; Stryker & Klein (KROQ/Los Angeles) — mornings.
