Federated Ups Guderian To Director Of Ops
• Federated Media has promoted Kyle Guderian to Director of Operations, overseeing Programming, Promotions, and Production across the company’s stations in Fort Wayne and South Bend, IN. He will hang onto his existing duties as Program Director of Active Rock duo WBYR (98.9 The Bear)/Fort Wayne and WRBR (103.9 The Bear)/South Bend.
“Kyle has been instrumental in elevating our on-air execution, promotions strategy, and workflow alignment,” said James Derby, Federated Media’s Chief Strategy Officer and Director of Programming. “This expanded role reflects the impact he’s already made across our brands.”
Prior to joining Federated Media in 2019, Guderian spent more than 15 years with Emmis, including three years in Chicago as OM of WLUP (97.9 The Loop) & WKQX (Q101). Before that he logged 12 years with Emmis St. Louis, rising to as APD/Promotions Director of KPNT (105.7 The Point), Director of Digital Solutions, and eventually, Director of Marketing, Promotions & Events for the cluster. Guderian earlier programmed WEQX/Manchester, VT, WEJE/Fort Wayne, and WFBZ, WKBH-FM & AM/La Crosse, WI.
