Female Lineup Shines On Sunny 104.3
• Last week Sierra H Multimedia relocated the Rhythmic AC format on KAJM (Mega 104.3)/Phoenix from 104.3 to 99.3 (K257CD / KMLE-HD3), rebranded as Mega 99.3, and launched Soft AC Sunny 104.3 on KAJM. This week, Sunny 104.3 takes its first giant steps as a going concern and unveils an all-female primetime on-air lineup featuring some very familiar voices — Lindsay Lynch in morning drive, Dianna Steele in middays, and Lizette Love in afternoon drive. Lizette will also take command of middays across the hall on Classic Hip Hop KZCE (101.1 The Bounce).
Lynch is a longtime Phoenix vet who joined Sierra H in Nov. 2023 to do middays on The Bounce. She began her career at Clear Channel Phoenix in 2005 and quickly transitioned to producer for Johnjay & Rich on KZZP. In 2013, she was promoted to Executive Producer and co-host for Mathew Blades on AC sister KMXP (Mix 96.9). Lynch also did mornings on former Riviera Rhythmic Hot AC KMVA (Hot 97.5/103.5). “I’m thrilled to return to my roots back in morning drive; even more excited to still be in Phoenix, a city I adore!” Lynch said. “I can already tell that Sunny 104.3 is going to be something special! I’m truly honored to be growing with this cluster and to be included in this new chapter!”
Diana Steele‘s impressive major market resume includes KIOI, KMEL & KZQZ/San Francisco, and KKBT, KRBV and KHHT/Los Angeles, to name a few. “I am so excited to join the Sunny 104.3 family and bring that ‘feel good’ vibe to the Valley of The Sun,” Steele said.
Lizette’s voice has graced numerous iHeartMedia stations in Nashville, Houston, Portland, Austin and most recently, Sacramento during a 15-year run. She also worked with Sunny 104.3/Bounce PD Eric Rosado at KUBE/Seattle until 2022. “I am so excited for the opportunity to continue my 15+ year radio journey with such an incredible team,” Lizette said. “With the new Sunny 104.3 and 101.1 The Bounce as my new home, I am incredibly hopeful for what the future brings for us in Phoenix!”
