‘FishBoy’ Graduates To ‘Flounder’ Status

• Times-Shamrock Classic Hits simulcast WQFM/WQFN (92 Mix FM)/Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA finalizes its newly revised live and local on-air lineup with the addition of a very familiar live and local voice — say hello to Dan Breymeier, the artist formerly known as “FishBoy” during his 25-year run as MD/night jock across the street on Audacy Top 40 WKRZ (98.5 KRZ).

Now, after a yearlong radio hiatus, Breymeier has been reactivated… and rebranded as “Flounder,” as 92 Mix FM’s new APD and afternoon drive personality, starting Monday, March 9.

OM/PD Mark Hoover said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Dan Breymeier to the 92 Mix FM family. His experience, passion for music, and the fact that he’s a true radio pro who knows how to connect with listeners makes him a perfect fit as Assistant Program Director and for our afternoon show. Dan’s energy and creativity will help elevate the station and bring even more excitement to our audience.”

The addition of “Flounder” in afternoon drive neatly fits into the refreshed 92 Mix FM jock lineup, which includes several well known personalities from sister WEZX (Rock 107)Neil Trama in mornings, Kait in middays, and Ron Reino in evenings as the station continues to strengthen its live and local presence across Northeast Pennsylvania.
