Ford Named PD Of WCYQ/Knoxville
• Veteran programmer and consultant Loyd Ford has been tapped as the new PD and afternoon drive talent for SummitMedia Country WCYQ (Q100.3)/Knoxville, TN, starting April 15. He succeeds Kevin King, who left in late February and returned to his former OM position with ADX Communications in Pensacola, FL.
Ford spent the past 12 years in Greenville, SC where he operated Rainmaker Pathway Consulting Works and served as Radio Division Manager for Americalist Direct Marketing. His earlier programming stops include KRMD/Shreveport, LA, WSSL/Greenville, SC, WKKT/Charlotte and WBEE/Rochester, NY.
