Fox On The Run

• Veteran programmer/personality Bill Fox has exited as morning host on Saga Classic Country 96.9 WSIG/Harrisonburg, VA after nearly a year in the seat.

Fox arrived in Virginia last October, coming off a three-year run with Midwest Communications, starting in June 2021 as Brand Manager/afternoon talent at Country WDEZ/Wausau, WI, leading the station to three consecutive top-rated books before transferring to Peoria, IL to program Country sister WXCL (104.9 The Wolf) — leading the station to its highest ratings in 25 years — later adding Brand Manager stripes for AC sister WSWT (Mix 106.9).

Fox previously did mornings on Press Communications’ Classic Rock WWZY (107.1 The Boss)/Monmouth-Ocean, NJ, Townsquare Country WOKQ/Portsmouth, NH, Pamal AC WYJB/Albany, NY and Binnie Media’s WFNK (107.5 Frank FM)/Portland ME, to name a few. Fox can be contacted at bfoxrox@gmail.com.
