Fox Sports Radio Enters Hampton Roads
• Max Media of Hampton Roads has flipped WGH-AM/Norfolk from “Money Talk” to Fox Sports Radio 1310.
VP/GM Keith Barton noted, “Max Media is proud to bring the two biggest brands in sports broadcasting together with the addition of Fox Sports Radio to the existing powerhouse [WVSP] ESPN Radio 94.1.”
Longtime WGH-AM fixture Dino Franza is now calling the plays as Brand Manager for the newly launched station. Franza said, “For the last 30+ years I’ve been with WGH 1310 the station has gone through many different formats, and I could not be more excited to being sports back to WGH.”
Fox Sports Radio 1310’s weekday all-star talent line-up includes The Dan Patrick Show (9am-noon), The Herd with Colin Cowherd (noon-3pm), and The Doug Gottlieb Show (3-5pm). Hampton Roads’ newest all-sports station can now be heard on 1310 AM, 100.9 FM, WVSP-HD2, and streamed 24/7 on FoxSportsRadio1310.com.
