Free Agent: Alana Lynn
UPDATED: • RAMP has confirmed that Alana Lynn has opted not to renew her contract as MD and co-host of The Breakfast Buzz at Entercom Country KMLE/Phoenix and will be departing sometime before April 1.
In a social media post, Lynn said, “I’ve never been one to shy from change. It’s been an eventful two years in Phoenix but the time has come to say goodbye. After thoughtful consideration, I decided not to renew my contract at KMLE. Being Music Director, afternoon drive host and morning show co-host, I am so proud of what we accomplished and the connections we made with the community. My drive to further my career and experience all radio has to offer has led me to explore other opportunities. Reflecting on my 15+ years in radio, the story of my career has continued to evolve, and I’m confident the next chapter will be the most rewarding yet.”
Lynn joined KMLE as MD/afternoon personality in March 2017, and was moved up to morning co-host in August 2018. Prior to her arrival in Phoenix, Lynn worked for Townsquare Media in Ft. Collins, CO doing mornings on Classic Hits KTRR (TRI 102.5), middays on Country KUAD (K99) and afternoons on Hot AC KKPL (99.9 The Point). Earlier stops include KAWO/Boise, ID, KUPL/Portland, OR and KBQI/Albuquerque, NM.
