Gary Williams Exits CMG Miami

• RAMP has learned that after two decades in the building at Cox Media Group Miami, Gary Williams announced his departure as Director of Director of Branding and Programming for AC WFEZ (Easy 93.1) as his position has been eliminated.

Williams remarked, “I’m thankful and grateful for so many amazing years, and very proud of my team for their passion and hard work in assisting me to build Miami’s number one radio station. During my time with CMG Miami, I also had the privilege of programming 97.3 The Coast (WFLC) and work with talented people on programming projects in Tampa and Jacksonville.”

Williams has been in the building since 2001, initially programming former Hot AC (now Top 40) WFLC. He launched WFEZ in 2010. In 2015 Williams was instrumental in the launch of Soft AC WEZI (Easy 102.9)/Jacksonville, and from 2015-2018 he consulted AC sister WDUV/Tampa.
