Gateway Creative Welcomes DeSocio, Moore

• Gateway Creative Broadcasting in St. Louis welcomes a couple of familiar-looking guys to the staff — let’s start at Contemporary Christian KLJY (99.1 JOY FM), which welcomes Jordan DeSocio for middays and other assorted duties. DeSocio (left) was most recently APD/MD and morning host across the street at iHeartMedia Top 40 KSLZ (Z107.7) until a round of COVID-related budget cuts last November. Before arriving in the Gateway City in 2013, DeSocio programmed iHeartMedia Top 40 WXXL (XL106.7)/Orlando, preceded by eight years at Top 40 sister WKFS (Kiss 107)/Cincinnati, where he rose to the PD chair.

Mike Couchman, PD of 99.1 JOY FM and Christian “Hip Hop & Pop” sister KXBS (BOOST 95.5), said, “Jordan is a natural pro with a big heart! We’re excited to hear him flex his talents and build relationships with JOY FM’s passionate audience.”

Gateway Creative also welcomes Jake Moore as Production and Imaging Director for both 99.1 JOY FM and KXBS (BOOST 95.5). Moore (right) arrives from the Relevant Radio network, and he has also worked for the Shine.FM Network, WKSC (103.5 Kiss FM)/Chicago, and WPCK (formerly NASH FM)/Green Bay, WI. Couchman said, “Jake’s passion for our two unique formats, and the amazing brands he’s been part of, make him the right fit to elevate our game in St. Louis, plus the new markets BOOST is entering.”
