Get Well, Matt Pinfield!!

• We join the rest of the industry in sending much love and healing thoughts to Matt Pinfield, who is lucky to be alive as he recovers from major injuries incurred when he was hit by a car on Monday night.

The story, which was first reported by TMZ, says the MTV veteran was struck by speeding car Monday night in L.A. He was transported to Cedars Sinai Medical Center where he was treated for a leg broken in two places and lacerations to his head that required stitches. Pinfield subsequently underwent two surgeries and is reported to be in stable condition.

TMZ reported that Pinfield is in great spirits and will soon begin some intensive physical therapy. As for the driver that hit him — TMZ says it was NOT a hit-and-run situation.

In a Facebook post, the upbeat Pinfield said, “Thank you to you and all my friends for all your support through this difficult time. The good news is I’m so grateful to be alive and I know it will be a long psychical recovery that I will meet everyday with a smile. Much love to you all!”
