Goose Is On The Loose
• And the Cumulus cuts continue… the latest casualty to surface is Aaron “Goose” Seller, PD/morning co-host at Country WWWW (W4)/Ann Arbor, MI, who is out after just 16 months on the job. Goose’s wake-up co-hosts Madison Rally and Brian Welch remain in place.
Seller joined W4 in July 2023 — ironically, that opportunity arose a month after his previous morning co-host spot at Cumulus Country WDRQ/Detroit was eliminated when the station was sold to EMF.
Prior to joining WDRQ in April 2022, Seller was OM of Adams Radio’s five-station group in Salisbury-Ocean City, MD and PD of Rhythmic WOCQ (which was subsequently sold and flipped to Country). Seller started his 26-year radio career in 1999 in Detroit’s iconic Fisher Building, the home of Cumulus Detroit, and his extensive resume includes stops at WKPK/Traverse City, MI; WLYD/Green Bay, WI; WNHT/Ft. Wayne, IN, KKPK and KKMG/Colorado Springs, CO and KYGO/Denver.
Seller is now seeking his next opportunity and can be contacted at gooseontheradio@gmail.com.
