Goose Loose In Ann Arbor
• Who doesn’t love a happy radio ending? In this case, we’re talking about Aaron “Goose” Seller, whose morning co-host position at Cumulus Country WDRQ/Detroit was eliminated last month when the station was sold to EMF. The good news is, Goose is already back in the saddle, as it were, as the company asked him to take command of Cumulus cousin WWWW (W4 Country)/Ann Arbor, MI, succeeding Brian “Bubba” Cowan, who last month left the radio business. Goose is also putting his headphones to excellent use as W4’s new morning co-host, plugged in across from Madison Rally and Brian Welch weekdays from 6-10am.
Prior to joining WDRQ in April 2022, Seller was OM of Adams Radio’s five-station group in Salisbury-Ocean City, MD and PD of Rhythmic WOCQ (which was subsequently sold and flipped to Country). Seller actually started his 25-year radio career in 1999 in Detroit’s iconic Fisher Building, the home of Cumulus Detroit, and his extensive resume includes stops at WKPK/Traverse City, MI; WLYD/Green Bay, WI; WNHT/Ft. Wayne, IN, KKPK and KKMG/Colorado Springs, CO and KYGO/Denver.
