Hall Communications Respects Its Elder
• Hall Communications announces the promotion of Dave Elder, longtime PD and afternoon talent at Country 97.7 WCTY/Norwich-New London, CT to Operations Manager for WCTY, Classic Rock 98.7 WNLC, Classic Hits WKNL (100.9 K-Hits) and Talk/Oldies WICH-AM. He succeeds Jim Reid, who retired in March. Elder is a 29-year veteran of Hall Communications, having joined WCTY in 1993.
“There is no one more qualified to take over as Operations Manager for our cluster of stations here,” said Andy Russell, VP/GM of Hall Communications Norwich. “While Dave is very strong on the programming side, he also champions the sales side of our business to create partnership opportunities for our clients. I’ve been lucky work with Dave for over 27 years in a variety of roles here at Hall Communications in Norwich.”
