Hall Named PD Of Lazer 103.3/Des Moines

• Saga Active Rock KAZR (Lazer 103.3)/Des Moines, IA keeps it firmly in the family and promotes APD/MD Andy Hall to the vacant PD chair. He succeeds 17-year company vet Ryan Patrick, who exited in late June after a round of restructuring.

Hall is certainly more than qualified to take the helm of Lazer — after getting his foot in the radio door at KXXR (93X)/Minneapolis in the late ’90s, Hall originally joined Lazer in July 2000, and with the exception of an eight-month PD stint in Fargo in 2003/04, he’s been in the building ever since.

Hall broke his own news in a Facebook posted, adding, “I’m excited for the future of the station, as I carry the torch forward in honor of my three predecessors, all of  whom paved a path of greatness that I promise to continue to build onto in the coming years.
