Hallways Are Buzzing At CMG Tulsa
• Cox Media Group Tulsa has put out the call for that special someone (a “multi-format, multi-platform talent”) to plug in as co-host of KC in the Morning on Hot AC KRAV (Mix 96.5) and also track the night shift on Country KWEN (K95.5), while appealing to a similar 25-54 demo. All of the pertinent info about this EOE gig, along with the application link, can be easily accessed via the Cox Media Group Careers portal.
This available opportunity comes on the heels of Kim Dallow‘s recent promotion to Director Of Radio Operations for CMG Tulsa. Dallow (pictured) is a 14-year veteran of CMG Tulsa, who has served as Director of Marketing & Promotions for CMG Tulsa for the past 11 years and Director of Branding & Programming for Classic Rock KJSR (103.3 The Eagle) for the past five years — a role she will maintain. The cluster also includes the aforementioned Hot AC KRAV (Mix 96.5) and Country KWEN (K95.5), along with News-Talk KRMG and Active Rock 105.7 The Bone (KWEN-HD2).
“It’s such a privilege to work with this team of outstanding broadcasters,” says Dallow. “I’m so proud of the local programming and community support that CMG Tulsa consistently provides, and I’m very grateful for the opportunity to help ensure that its legacy of excellence continues.”
The OM position has been officially open since Nathan Reed transferred to CMG Tampa as PD AC WWRM (Magic 94.9) and Soft AC WDUV back in August 2019. “Kim has been serving unofficially as our OM for about a year now, and our cluster has only improved with her at the helm,” said RVP Cathy Gunther, adding, “I look forward to seeing what she can do in her new role as we continue to lead the radio market in Green Country with top-tier ratings, community events, and innovative promotional efforts.”
