Harms & Stapleford Now Streaming
• UPDATED: Big news for a couple prominent Alternative veterans: 1) Andrew Harms who recently resigned as APD/MD and afternoon drive talent on iHeartMedia Alternative KYSR (ALT 98.7)/Los Angeles has joined Culver City-based Amazon Music as U.S. Rock & Alternative Programmer, reporting to fellow radio vet Mike Tierney.
Harms (left) notably spent 14 years with Entercom Alternative KNDD (107.7 The End)/Seattle until November 2012. He later moved to Los Angeles, joining P. Diddy‘s REVOLT network as Director of Music Programming/on-air host and started doing part-time at ALT 98.7. He was upgraded to fulltime APD/MD and afternoons in March 2015. You can share your best wishes with Harms at andyharm@amazon.com.
• RAMP has also confirmed that veteran programmer Kevin Stapleford has joined Pandora as VP of Content & Programming, reporting to Alex Luke, SVP, Digital Content for SiriusXM & Pandora.
Stapleford (right) segues from LiveXLive, where he was most recently VP of Programming. He previously spent six years with Slacker, which was acquired by LiveXLive in 2019. Stapleford’s extensive radio history includes two tours of duty as VP of Programming at 91X and XHRM/San Diego. He also launched KNDD (The End)/Seattle in 1991, served as Director of Strategic Content at Clear Channel Interactive and was Director of Content Development at Tapioca Mobile. We were also honored to work with him back in the day at the late, legendary R&R, where he served as Alternative Editor.
