Harris Upped To SVPP, iHeart Sarasota
• iHeartMedia Sarasota promotes from within and elevates Frank Harris to Senior Vice President of Programming for the five-station group. That position had been covered remotely for the past few years by by Ken Holiday, SVP of Programming for iHeart Melbourne, who also oversees the Florida News Network.
Harris has been with the team since 2004 and was most recently PD and morning show host on Classic Rock WTZB (B105), which he will continue to do.
Harris reports to Chris Soechtig, Market President for iHeartMedia West Central Florida, who said, “We are thrilled to have Frank oversee our programming efforts in Sarasota. Frank’s extensive experience in the market, coupled with his creativity, drive, and passion for the radio business, makes him the perfect person to lead our talented team of broadcast professionals.”
