Henson Headed To Entercom Richmond
• Veteran major market News-Talk programmer Gregg Henson will soon be a Virginia resident, as he’s been hired by Entercom as the new PD of News Radio WRVA-AM & FM and Sports-Talk WRNL (Fox Sports 910)/Richmond.
Henson will relocate from Lincoln, NE, where he was most recently PD and morning co-host at Alpha Media News-Talk KFOR. Before that he spent five years as Director of Programming of iHeartMedia News-Talk WPGB-FM and Sports-Talk WBGG-AM (970 ESPN)/Pittsburgh and Director of Sports Content for iHeartMedia Pittsburgh until July 2017. Henson is also a 22-year veteran of Detroit radio, with stops at WKRK, WDFN-AM and WXYT. He also programmed WPEN-AM/Philadelphia and Clear Channel Sports-Talk KVET (AM 1300 The Zone)/Austin back in the day.
