Hey Albuquerque — Haskell’s Back!

• Third time’s the charm for the charming Eddie Haskell, who just couldn’t stay “retired” — RAMP has confirmed that Haskell dug his headphones out of a box in the garage and has reported for duty — for the third time — to Cumulus Country 92.3 KRST/Albuquerque, NM, this time as APD/afternoon talent. That spot opened up when Cody Clark left in August.

Let us review: Haskell famously served as OM of the Albuquerque cluster under former owner Citadel, and was PD/afternoon talent for KRST from 2004-2013. He returned to KRST as midday personality in Sept. 2022 after a stint as VP of Ops & Programming for Max Media of Hampton Roads, VA and Brand Manager/afternoon jock for Country WGH-FM (97.3 The Eagle)/Norfolk. Last September Haskell announced his retirement and signed off from middays on KRST, presumably for a life of leisure.

RAMP caught up with Haskell, who explained the sound reasoning behind his return: “Yeah, they caught me when I was bored… Why not?” Much like his radio career, Haskell’s old Cumulus email address has now been reactivated: say hello at Eddie.Haskell@cumulus.com.
