Homecoming For Dominque Da Diva
“I’m confident Dominique will be a perfect fit for the Richmond team,” said Kashon Powell, Radio One VP of Programming. “She’s an amazing talent with a passion for the culture and I’m excited about what she will bring to middays for WCDX.”
Dominique is a Richmond native who began her radio career as an intern at WBTJ (106.5 The Beat)/Richmond while attending Virginia State University. She later did middays at WOWI (103 Jamz)/Norfolk before joining WKYS/Washington in 2017. In late 2019 she moved from middays to afternoon drive to form The Quicksilva Show With Dominique Da Diva, which went into syndication with Reach Media in Oct. 2020.
Dominique remarked, “Being back on air in my hometown is such a full-circle moment for me. Now, 13 years later, I get to come back and put on for the city in an even bigger way! Thank you, Kashon Powell and Matt Myers, for this amazing opportunity! Thank you, Richmond, for always supporting me and my career. I look forward to entertaining, informing and engaging with all of you on air and in the community!”
