Hot 97’s Funk Flex Expands Onto WBLS

• Funk Flex, longtime night-time air personality on MediaCo Hip Hop WQHT (HOT 97)/New York is about to get even busier, as he’s named Digital Content Specialist for both HOT 97 and Urban AC sister WBLS. He will also take on the role of WBLS Mix Show Coordinator, joining a robust roster of legendary WBLS DJs, including Kool DJ Red Alert, Marley Marl, Chuck Chillout, Dahved Levy and DJ Scratch, and will now be charged with providing strategic guidance and planning to the team for the station’s daily mix shows. Naturally, Flex will continue to dominate the airwaves as host of the Tri-State’s No.1-ranked night show on HOT 97.
