idobi Loves Marconi, No Bologna
• Sending our best wishes to the honorable Bolognious Francine Marconi, who is excited beyond recognition to announce that his role with idobi Network has been vastly improved.
Marconi, previously known and loved for his work on WKQX (Q101)/Chicago, Westwood One 24/7 formats, and most recently, as half of the independently syndicated morning show The Mood Killers, has served as the creative imaging voice and audio alchemist for idobi Network since 2015.
He is now delighted to be even further immersed in the day-to-day creative aspects of idobi, which features three popular channels: idobi Radio (pop punk + alt rock + personality shows); idobi Howl (new metal + hardcore); and idobi Anthem (indie + indie rock).
“I am elated about this upgrade,” Marconi exclaimed. “I love radio. I’ve found, however, that there have been fewer and fewer opportunities that seemed like a fit for me on traditional radio. With idobi I get to stay in Chicago and work remotely, which is all I’ve ever wanted. The idobi Network team is already packed with amazingly talented creators and curators.
