iHeart ATL Expands Spanish Hits

• iHeartMedia Atlanta is giving Spanish Contemporary WBZY (Z105.3), “Tu Estación Para Super Hits,” a larger platform, moving the format over to 105.7 WRDA, replacing Alternative ALT 105.7. As the press release states, “The move will allow a larger audience to enjoy the Spanish Contemporary format.” As of now, Z105.3 is simulcasting on 105.3 and 105.7.

“This is a tremendous opportunity to move the signal where more of the Hispanic audience can enjoy the music, information and the top-rated Tú Mañana Con Enrique Santos show,” said Meg Stevens, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Atlanta. The Z105.3 line-up looks like this — 6-10am: Tú Mañana Con Enrique Santos; 10am-3pm: Orlando Mix; 3-7pm: Luis Treviño; 7-midnight: Jessi Dee.
