iHeart Sacramento Launches KISS 107.9
• UPDATED: iHeartMedia Sacramento is proud to reignite one of Northern California’s largest radio stations — after several years of darkness, 107.9FM — formerly Top 40 KDND (107.9 The End) until Entercom surrendered the frequency in Feb. 2017 — springs back to life with the launch of the new KISS 107.9, “The Best Variety From The ’90s and 2000s.”
KISS 107.9 will play pop, rock and rhythm of the ’90s and 2000s from artists like Lady Gaga, 2Pac, Black Eyed Peas, Fun., The Weeknd, Eminem, P!nk, Usher, Coldplay, Britney Spears, No Doubt, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, etc.

We’ve seen it the past few years that the strength of the ’90s/2000s nostalgia is alive and well from music to fashion, so this will be a very fun station! KISS 107.9 is temporarily using the call letters KSTE-FM, but we are told that new calls are forthcoming.
Here is the on-air line-up for the new KISS 107.9 — 6-10am: Chino; 10am-3pm: Wendy Wild; 3-7pm: Strawberry & Lizette; 7-midnight: Frankie V.
