Jack FM To Rebrand As ‘Blade FM’
• Thursday, June 6 at 11am PT, legendary air personality Richard Blade will receive his well-deserved star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, presented by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
To celebrate this honor, Audacy Classic Hits KCBS-FM (93.1 Jack FM)/Los Angeles, where Blade hosts the Flashback Lunch, will temporarily rebrand as 93.1 Blade FM for the day on June 6. Earlier in the day Blade will visit the World Famous KROQ, where he was a top-rated morning drive host in the ’80s, for an interview with the Klein/Ally Show. He will also run across the hall and join KNX News 97.1 FM at 8:15am PT.
The ceremony will honor Blade in the Radio category and feature speeches from fellow Walk of Famer (and KROQ alum) Jimmy Kimmel and Richard Blade Fan Club Coordinator Oscar E. Alvarez, Jr. The event will be streamed live exclusively at walkoffame.com.
