Jackson Comes Home To Fun 107
• Townsquare Media’s heritage Top 40 WFHN (Fun 107)/New Bedford, MA has filled its afternoon drive opening with a very familiar face — a man known simply as Jackson, who got his first industry break as an intern at Fun 107 while attending New Bedford High School. After paying his dues at WRVQ (Q94)/Richmond and KHTT (106.9 K-Hits)/Tulsa, Jackson now makes his triumphant homecoming to Fun 107 as afternoon jock, along with bonus Asst. MD stripes.
OM Michael Rock said, “As soon as I heard Jackson was returning to the South Coast, I knew we had to get him back on our roster. There’s way too much experience not to utilize a guy like that.”
In his capacity as Asst. MD, Jackson will be sitting in on all music meetings with Rock and MD Nancy Hall. “There’s nothing like coming back to the place that gave me my first shot,” said Jackson. “I’m looking forward to working with the amazing crew here at the world-famous Fun107.
