Jason Lee & Kluck Headed For Syndication
• Audio 1 is proud to announce the signing of Jason Lee & Kluck for national distribution, effective Monday, Oct. 2. The highly successful show originated in 2010 on Federated Media Active Rock WRBR (103.9 The Bear)/South Bend, IN and is now also carried on sister WBYR (98.9 The Bear)/Fort Wayne.
With a combined 40 years of radio experience, Jason Lee and Warren “Kluck” have created the kind of show inclusive to the whole family, and as a result, Jason Lee & Kluck dominates morning drive in both markets. Kluck is especially excited for the show’s new syndication opportunity, as he noted, “We’re beyond thrilled that a company as well-regarded as Audio 1 would show such a glaring lack of judgement in believing that our lunacy should be foisted upon a larger public.”
Dallas-based Audio 1 already represents several talk and music products, but Director of Programming Mike Ragz says JL&K bring unique talents to their platform, commenting, “We are energized to find a show with irreverence and fun for everyone that not only plays on a rock format in the Midwest, but that can play on ANY format in any market.”
The show will continue to air from 6-10am ET daily, and the guys also produce a weekly companion podcast, the aptly named Here’s Your Freakin’ Podcast that Audio 1 will also distribute globally.
