Jazzy Jim Named PD of KMVQ/SF
• Bonneville International Corporation announced it has promoted Bay Area radio pro “Jazzy” Jim Archer to PD of newly acquired Top 40 KMVQ (99.7 Now!)/San Francisco. The selection of Archer makes perfect sense, seeing as how he has served as KMVQ’s APD/MD since 2011. He previously programmed crosstown KYLD (Wild 94.9)/San Francisco from 2005 to 2008.
“Jazzy is the natural choice to continue 99.7 Now’s amazing run to the top in Bay Area radio,” said Carl Gardner, Market Manager for Bonneville San Francisco. “He knows the street and has the feel for what’s hot right now.” Bonneville began operating the station under a local marketing agreement with the Entercom Divestiture Trust after today’s completion of the Entercom/CBS Radio merger.
