Julie K Named MD, WPCV/Lakeland
• Hall Communications’ WPCV (97 Country)/Lakeland-Winter Haven, FL has formally awarded MD stripes to morning show host Julie K.
In making the big announcement, Bob Walker, VP of Programming for Hall Communications, said, “Julie is dialed into the format and our programming strategy at both 97 Country and Hall Radio. She has been doing the job informally since the beginning of the year — now it’s official.”
Julie K joined WPCV in Sept. 2017, after a stint as OM of the Cumulus cluster in Shreveport, LA and PD of Top 40 KQHN. Her earlier stops include WGGY/Wilkes Barre-Scranton, PA, WMZQ/Washington and KASE/Austin.
