Kachinske Brand Extension!
• Max Kachinske has been hired by Midwest Communications in the newly created position of Corporate Programming Assistant. Kachinske (left) makes the move to Midwest from Neuhoff Media Country WFMB/Springfield, IL, where he currently does nights. If Max’s last name sounds hauntingly familiar, it’s because he’s the son of Mary Ellen Kachinske, the longtime PD of Hubbard Radio Hot AC WTMX (101.9 The Mix)/Chicago.
Jeff McCarthy, VP of Programming of Midwest Communications, stated, “I met Max at the Conclave in Minneapolis a couple of years ago and found him to have a tremendous work ethic and true passion for the industry. We continued to communicate while looking for the right position within Midwest Communications. His eagerness to learn and grow made him a perfect fit for the position of Corporate Programming Assistant.”
Kachinske commented, “I’m beyond excited to begin working with such a respected programmer in Jeff McCarthy and the amazing group at Midwest Communications. This is something I couldn’t begin to dream up that became a reality. I can’t wait to get started.” Kachinske begins his new adventure on May 14 and will be based at the Midwest Communications facilities in Green Bay, WI.
