Kage Crosses The Denver Street
• Stand by for the official announcement, but RAMP has confirmed that Denver programming pro John E. Kage had resigned as PD of Bonneville Country KYGO after 2 1/2 years and was in the process of crossing the street to the PD post at iHeartMedia Top 40 KPTT (95.7 The Party).
Kage notably spent seven years as PD and Digital Content Director of Entercom Top 40 KQKS (KS107.5)/Denver until November 2015, when he relocated to Tampa as Director of Branding for Cox Media Group Top 40 WPOI (Hot 101.5). Nine months later, Kage returned to the Mile High City as PD of KYGO.
KYGO SVP/GM Bob Call has now kicked off the search for a successor. In the meantime, he tells us that MD Patrick Knight would be the point person for KYGO programming until a new PD is hired. Interested candidates are urged to make their presence known to Call at BCall@Bonneville.com.
