Kaplan Now 30% More Awesome

• Just as we broke for the holidays, Entercom Los Angeles announced the upgrade of Jake Kaplan to Operations and Creative Director for Top 40 KAMP (97.1 AMP Radio), RADIO.COM’s LGBTQ-targeted Channel Q and ad-free mixing channel Firelane (also available on KAMP-HD3). He will retain his current role as Creative Director for AMP Radio.

In a stirring staff memo, Regional President Jeff Federman said,”Jake started with [Adult Hits KCBS-FM] JACK FM back in 2005 as Imaging Director. Through the years he has contributed passionately to our cluster and the overall company. Jake’s been instrumental in creating the sound of our stations and many others across the country. In his new role (which he has kind of been doing by default), he will oversee creative operations for all three stations. Jake will also work on making our overall creative process more efficient.” In closing, Federman said, “Congrats Jake… now go be creative, would ya?!”
