Kasper Named PD of BIG 104.7/Pittsburgh
• iHeartMedia has tapped veteran programmer and air talent Mike Kasper as the new Program Director and afternoon drive personality for Country WPGB (BIG 104.7)/Pittsburgh, effective October 11.
Kasper will report to David Edgar, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Pittsburgh, who commented, “Mike is the ideal person to lead the BIG 104.7 programming department. He will bring his creative lifestyle and promotional ideas to the station, as well as host a high-energy, fun afternoon show for Pittsburgh.”
Kasper most recently did afternoon drive at Audacy Country WUSN (US99)Chicago until last April. An Ohio native, Kasper got his start at WHOT/Youngstown, and later tracked WKDD/Akron and WAKZ/Youngstownduring its Top 40 days, and he notably spent many years as APD/MD/afternoons at iHeartMedia Top 40 WAKS (96.5 Kiss FM)/Cleveland. Kasper’s prior stops include afternoons at WIOQ/Philadelphia and APD/MD/afternoons at WRVQ/Richmond.
