KAtt D Named OM, Radio One Raleigh-Durham
• Urban One announced the promotion of Erwin “KAtt D” Hill to Operations Manager at Radio One Raleigh-Durham.
KAtt D’s career with Urban One started back in 2003 at Radio One Atlanta. In 2009, KAtt was promoted to APD of WAMJ/WUMJ (Majic 97.5/107.5) and PD of Classix 102.9 (W275BK). He also has a background in the mainstream Urban format.
According to the official press release, since his recent interim appointment as APD at Urban AC simulcast WFXC/WFXK (Foxy 107-104)/Raleigh-Durham, “KAtt has demonstrated his keen ability to seamlessly transition into a new role in support of the company’s needs and he has proven himself to be an asset to the team.”
In making the announcement of KAtt’s OM appointment, Gary Weiss, VP/GM of Radio One Raleigh-Durham, said, “KAtt checks all of the boxes with his depth of experience, his recent success in his interim role, and his ‘high tech/high touch’ acumen. He and his wife, Carla, look forward to settling in the Raleigh area.”
