KHTK/Sacramento Now ‘Sactown Sports’

• Bonneville Sports-Talk 1140 KHTK/Sacramento has rebranded as Sactown Sports. As the press release so eloquently states, “The flagship home of the Sacramento Kings will still feature the same great insider content and programming, now with a new name showcasing the commitment to the best in local Sacramento Sports.”

“We are more than a radio station,” said Steve Cottingim, SVP/Market Manager of Bonneville Sacramento. “We are Sacramento Sports, a content creator that distributes the best in Sacramento Sports across multiple platforms.”

And there’s more — along with the rebrand comes a new on-air addition: major market veteran Ramie Makhlouf is joining PD/afternoon drive personality Nick Cattles as co-host of the newly minted Cattles & Ramie show (3-6pm PT), effective Tuesday, June 21. Makhlouf (right) is a sports radio veteran, with prior stops in Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and Chicago, and is now excited to bring his creativity, humor, energy, sports knowledge, and opinion to the city of Sacramento.
