KIRO/Seattle Elevates Its Morning News Factor

• Bonneville’s KIRO Newsradio/Seattle is proud to announce the addition of veteran journalist Manda Factor as the new co-host of Seattle’s Morning News. Factor joins Charlie Harger, who in January was elevated from News Director to host of the station’s flagship morning program.

“We’re thrilled to have Manda Factor join Seattle’s Morning News,” said Bryan Buckalew, Director of News and Talk Programming. “Her reputation in the Pacific Northwest and genuine enthusiasm for connecting our community make her a fantastic addition. With Manda and Charlie Harger at the helm, we’re excited to bring our listeners a morning show that’s both informative and engaging.”

Factor, a native of Olympia, WA, has earned a reputation as a meticulous reporter and anchor over the past 35 years, earning numerous accolades from the Associated Press Television Radio Association (APTRA) and the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Awards.

“I am beyond excited to join Charlie and the KIRO Newsradio team,” said Factor. “Charlie has been an integral part of the Seattle community, and I look forward to collaborating with him to bring important news and meaningful conversations to our listeners every morning. There is so much happening in the world, and I’m passionate about delving into those stories to share with our community.”
