• iHeartMedia Top 40 WKSL (97.9 Kiss FM)/Jacksonville keeps it firmly in the family, as PD Skip Kelly promotes evening entertainer Mel Rose to Music Director.

RAMP caught up with Ms. Rose, who told us, “I’m so incredibly thankful for this opportunity. I sound like I’m accepting an award, but honestly, I feel like I am. I’m so grateful to Skip for seeing potential in me and trusting me to do this. Music has my entire heart and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. This is honestly a dream come true.”

When asked to explain the passion she brings to her new position, Rose replied, “I don’t have any previous Music Director experience; however, I have about a year’s-worth of experience bothering Skip about new artists I love… ha ha!”
