• Audacy’s All-News KNX (News 97.1 FM)/Los Angeles announced the launch of LA’s Afternoon News, weekdays from 2-7pm PT, beginning Monday, Jan. 30.
Longtime Los Angeles news personality Rob Archer joins co-anchor Karen Adams and veteran traffic and breaking news reporter Brian Douglas, while KNX News Sr. Content Director Charles Feldman, co-host of KNX In Depth, expands his role and will contribute live interviews and reporting throughout LA’s Afternoon News.
A familiar voice on Los Angeles radio since 1999, Archer joined KNX News in 2015. Before moving to afternoons, he anchored the weekend morning news. Adams joined KNX in 2017 as a street reporter and has anchored afternoons since 2019. Before KNX, the Edward Murrow Award-winning journalist worked in Washington, DC and Philadelphia.

Over the course of a three-decade career Douglas has worked in New York, Chicago, and Phoenix, and hosted a national afternoon show on Westwood One for seven years. Feldman is co-host of KNX In-Depth and has served as the station’s investigative reporter for several years. He was a CNN investigative correspondent in New York and Los Angeles for two decades before joining KNX, and has won several local and national awards for his radio and television work.
“Rob, Karen, Brian, and Charles are the perfect team to take afternoons on KNX News to the next level in 2023 and beyond,” said Jeff Federman, Regional President, Audacy Southern California. “They bring enormous reporting experience, perspective and humanity to the news that impacts our lives every day.” Pictured, (l-r): Archer, Douglas, Adams and Feldman
