KRBE Adjusts Line-Up, Adds New Faces

• The hallways are buzzing with activity at Cumulus Top 40 KRBE/Houston, as the station adjusts its on-air line-up and welcomes two new employees — Naturally, the long-running Roula & Ryan Show continues in morning drive, with cast member Sam Given (left) now taking on additional solo shift from 10am-noon.

New to the KRBE team is Audrey Rose, who will do noon-3pm, and will also be featured in afternoon drive with APD Kevin Quinn, who re-upped in August. Rose (center) joins KRBE from Bryan Broadcasting Top 40 KNDE (Candy 95.1)/Bryan-College Station, where she was MD/midday personality. Rose started her career in 2013 as a promotions intern at KQKS (KS107.5) in her hometown of Denver, eventually becoming the main swing shift/fill-in personality and hosting nights.

Next up is market vet Laura Dickerson who joins KRBE as Music Director and host of H Town Live With Laura, weeknights from 7-midnight. Dickerson (right) spent the past five years across the street as MD/air talent on former Radio One Top 40 KROI (RadioNOW 92.1). Dickerson started her career in her hometown of Boston on the Matty In The Morning show at WXKS (Kiss 108), and then had multiple roles on and off-air at KMVA (Hot 97.5)/Phoenix.

Leslie Whittle, PD of 104.1 KRBE, said, “I’ve had the honor to work alongside many of these talented individuals for several years with great success, including a top-rated January ’22, and I’m thrilled to start our journey with these dynamic personalities in their new roles. Our mission at KRBE is to entertain our audience with local voices who truly care about serving Houston, and these women are the perfect additions to our team.”
