Kris Daniels Inks Online Radio Gig
• Chris Lowden, the founder of popular Las Vegas nightspot Stoney’s Rockin’ Country announced he’s “dropping the needle” on a new online radio destination — CAFR (Country AF Radio) debuts tomorrow, March 1 and will be programmed by a very familiar Las Vegas name — Kris Daniels, who will also do mornings. Daniels is the former PD of Beasley Country KCYE (102.7 The Coyote)/Las Vegas who earned her Masters degree in 2015 and resigned last summer to pursue a new career as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
Ms. Daniels (pictured) is a second-generation radio pro (her father is Country Radio Hall of Famer Larry Daniels). She joined KCYE in August 2013, transitioning from a five-year run as MD/morning co-host at SummitMedia Country WQNU (New Country Q103.1)/Louisville. Her previous radio history includes stops in Bakersfield, a stint with Johnjay & Rich at KRQQ/Tucson and a run with Clear Channel Country KHGE/Fresno.
