KZZU Inks ‘Joey & Lauren’ For Mornings

• Talk about some big shoes to fill…. less than two weeks after the shocking exit of 30-year Spokane morning radio icons Dave Sposito, Ken Hopkins and Molly Allen from Morgan Murphy Media’s KZZU/Spokane, RAMP has learned the names of their successors — Joey & Lauren, married radio duo syndicated by Idaho-based Iliad Media, will cross the hall to KZZU after an 18-month run on Rhythmic AC sibling KEZE (Hot 96.9), effective July 8.

“We are honored to have Joey & Lauren join a heritage and top-rated station like ‘ZZU,” said James Garner, VP of Operations for Iliad Media Management. “Joey & Lauren have deep roots in Spokane; they grew up here, their family is here, the city and the people mean a lot to them.
