Las Vegas Swapping Totally Legal

Effective at midnight on Thursday, Nov. 13, KCYE will move back to its original home at 102.7 FM, the powerful 99,000-watt Class C signal, rebranding back to 102.7 Coyote Country, while KVGS will return to 107.9 FM and once again become 107.9 VGS, optimizing each station’s reach and better serving listeners and advertisers across Southern Nevada.
This move marks a return to familiar dial positions for both brands, which had originally exchanged frequencies on June 24, 2022.
“We’re excited to return these legendary stations to their original frequencies,” said AJ Lurie, Regional Vice President of Beasley Media Group Las Vegas. “This change enhances our ability to deliver the best possible listening experience to our audiences and provides greater opportunities for our advertisers.”
“Both KCYE and KVGS have deep roots in this market,” said Justin Chase, Beasley’s Chief Content Officer. “This frequency realignment allows us to build on their legacies and strengthen our overall presence in the Las Vegas community.”
