Lightning Strikes For Stephanie McFadden

• Tuned-In Broadcasting Triple A WRLT (Lightning 100), “Nashville’s Independent Radio Station” makes it official and announces Stephanie McFadden as Music Director. We understand she’s actually been serving in the role since May.

McFadden joined Lightning 100 as a production engineer in May 2016 after interning at the station during her final semester of college. In the nine years since, she’s taken on the positions of Production Manager and Asst. MD, in addition to hosting the 10 am to noon shift and heading up the New Music Monday specialty show on Monday nights.

“I’m honored to be a part of such a longstanding piece of Nashville culture,” McFadden remarked. “My favorite part of this job is connecting listeners with songs that might become their new favorite thing and the soundtrack to their lives. This place means so much to me, and I’m excited to continue digging deeper into my role here at Lightning.”

“It’s been fun to see Stephanie become such a trusted on air presence in Nashville, radio both for her voice and music knowledge,” said Dan Buckley, Program Director of Lightning 100. “Special thanks as well to our fearless President, Lester Turner Jr., whose sole ownership and support of WRLT lets us work our dream job and make the community we live in a better place.”

Keith Coes will remain a vital part of the Lightning 100 team, continuing to host weeknights and Lightning 100 Unplugged on Sunday mornings.
