Malone Named PD Of WQMP/Orlando

• Entercom has filled its key PD vacancy at Alternative WQMP (FM101.9)/Orlando with the hire of format veteran Matt Malone.

Malone (left) arrives in sunny Florida from Kansas City, where he has served as APD/MD and afternoon personality for Cumulus Alternative KCJK (X105.1) since August 2016. Before that he was APD of El Dorado Broadcasters’ Alternative KURQ-FM/San Luis Obispo, CA. Earlier in his career Malone was Corporate Programming Asst. for WLS-FM/Chicago and an on-air personality for WLUM (FM 102/1)/Milwaukee.
