Map Indicates West To Kentucky
• LM Communications’ Classic Hits WGKS (Kiss 96.9FM)/Lexington, KY is thrilled to announce the hire of veteran programmer and air talent Randi West to track afternoon drive.
“We are excited to welcome Randi West to the Kiss 96.9FM family,” said Lynn Martin, President of LM Communications. “Her passion for music and her vibrant personality will undoubtedly resonate with our listeners and bring a new level of energy to our programming.”
West is an Illinois native who has been doing radio since the age of 16. She most recently served four years as PD of Hubbard Hot AC 97.9 WRMF/West Palm Beach. Before that she spent eight years as Program Director of iHeartMedia Hot AC WMTX (Mix 100.7)/Tampa. Prior to transferring to Tampa Bay in April 2011, West programmed Top 40 sister WDCG (G105)/Raleigh.
Earlier in her career West worked at WVMX (Mix 94.1)/Cincinnati, where, coincidentally, she first crossed paths with Patrick Scott, PD of Kiss 96.9, who remarked, “I am so excited to be working with Randi again! She brings entertainment to the listener like no other!”
In addition to her radio career, West also hosts the Sandals Resorts Palmcast, showcasing her enthusiasm for both broadcasting and travel.
