Matthews New OM of Alpha Media Dayton

• Longtime Ohio-based iHeartMedia programmer Bo Matthews makes the leap to Alpha Media as the newly named Operations Manager of the company’s Dayton, OH cluster and Content Director of Adult Hits WGTZ (92.9 Jack FM) and Classic Country WCLI (101.5 Hank FM). Matthews is certainly well acquainted with the region, as he most recently served as SVP of Programming for the iHeartMedia Markets Group in Cincinnati and Dayton.

Alpha Media EVP of Content, Scott Mahalick commented, “Bo is a world class ‘A’-level programmer who is energized, pursues excellence as a habit, understands the mission and how to achieve it. Matthews started his radio career in Youngstown, OH with Jacor Communications. He ascended through the programming ranks with Clear Channel and iHeartMedia with stops in Ft. Myers, Jacksonville and a decade Cleveland, where he programmed WMMS and WAKS until January 2014, when he accepted the promotion and transfer to Cincinnati.
